12th Pass Government Jobs 2026 — Sarkari Naukri After Intermediate / HSC

SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) is the flagship government recruitment for Class 12 pass candidates. It offers posts such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA/SA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and Court Clerk in ministries and attached departments across India. CHSL vacancies range from 3,000–10,000 in a typical cycle, with selection through a two-stage Computer Based Test followed by a Skill/Typing test. Starting pay is ₹25,500/month at Pay Level 4 for most posts, rising steadily with annual increments and promotions.

For candidates who cleared Class 12 with Physics and Maths, UPSC NDA & NA Examination is one of the most prestigious options — a direct entry route into the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force through the National Defence Academy (Khadakwasla) and Naval Academy (Ezhimala). UPSC conducts NDA twice a year. Written exam covers Maths and General Ability. Post-selection training is 3 years at NDA followed by service academy. The monthly stipend during training is approximately ₹56,100, which rises to officer-level pay on commissioning. For those who prefer the civilian track, SSC CPO (Sub-Inspector in CAPF) and UPSC CAPF (AC) also accept 12th pass for some roles, though graduation is now required for most SI posts.
