A wrong closing date or an incorrect age limit can cost someone a job application, an exam fee, and a year of waiting for the next cycle. That is the standard we hold ourselves to on this site. This page explains exactly where our information comes from, how it is checked, and what to do when we get something wrong.

Where our information comes from

Every job, result, admit card and answer key on Govt Jobs AI is sourced from official government notifications only — the recruitment portals and PDFs published by the hiring organisation itself.

We do not republish from other job portals, aggregators, coaching-centre websites, or Telegram and WhatsApp forwards. When a notification circulates on social media before it appears on the official portal, we wait for the official document.

Every job page on this site links directly to the official notification PDF and the official website. If we have published something and you cannot find the source link on the page, treat that as an error and tell us.

How a job page is made

We are an AI-assisted portal, and we think you should know precisely what that means. Here is the actual process:

1. Sourcing. We monitor official recruitment portals across central departments, state public service commissions, PSUs, banks and railways. When a new notification is published, we download the official PDF.

2. Extraction. We use AI to read the notification PDF and pull out the structured details — vacancy counts, category-wise splits, age limits and relaxations, qualifications, application fees, pay scale, important dates and the selection process. Government notifications are long, inconsistently formatted and often published in regional languages; this step is what lets us cover a large number of notifications quickly.

3. Automated checks. Before anything can be published, every page runs through validation. A page is blocked if it contains unresolved placeholder text (bracket tokens, template variables, TODO markers, or the literal word “null” appearing as content); if any Key Facts row carries a value of “N/A”; if the Analyst’s Take and Quick Summary share more than 80% of their words; if the age limit in the summary clearly disagrees with the structured age-limit field; if a vacancy count in the body text disagrees by more than 10% with the total-vacancies field; if the selection process description mentions a written exam but the structured stages contain none; if a category vacancy count equals the total row count (a column-mapping error); or if no official notification URL or official website link is present.

4. Human review. A member of our editorial team reviews high-vacancy and high-traffic notifications line by line against the official PDF. Smaller notifications are published on automated checks alone and reviewed when flagged.

5. Publication and updates. Each page carries a visible "Last Updated" date. When a notification is amended — dates extended, vacancies revised, corrigendum issued — we update the page and refresh that date.

What AI does not do here: it does not decide what is true. The official notification PDF is the source of record for every figure on this site. Where our page and the official PDF disagree, the PDF is right and we are wrong — please tell us.

What we check

For every job posting:

• Vacancy count and category-wise split — against the vacancy table in the notification
• Age limit and relaxations — including the reference date the age is calculated from, which candidates most often get wrong
• Educational qualification — including whether final-year students may apply
• Application fee — by category, including waivers
• Key dates — application opening, closing, fee payment deadline (often a different date), exam date
• Selection process — the actual stages, with marks and negative marking where specified
• Pay scale — as stated in the notification. Where we show an estimated in-hand salary, we state the assumptions behind it. Treat those as estimates, not guarantees.
• Official links — apply portal, notification PDF, organisation website

What we don't do

• We don't collect applications. Every application goes through the official government portal. We link to it; we never stand between you and it.
• We never charge a fee for any job listing, alert, result or tool on this site.
• We don't call or message candidates offering jobs, guaranteed selection, or paid assistance. If someone contacts you claiming to be from Govt Jobs AI and asks for money or documents, it is a fraud. Please report it to us.
• We're not affiliated with any government body. Govt Jobs AI is an independent information portal.

When we get it wrong

We publish a large number of notifications, and some will contain errors. We would rather hear about them.

Email alerts@govtjobsai.com with the page URL and what is wrong. If you can point to the relevant page of the official PDF, it helps us fix it faster.

Our commitment:

• We aim to review every correction report within 48 hours
• Corrections to material details — dates, vacancies, eligibility, fees — carry a dated correction note on the page so you can see what changed
• We don't quietly edit and pretend it was always right
