Admit Card 2026 — Government Exam Hall Tickets

An admit card — also called a hall ticket or call letter — is the official entry pass issued by a government recruiting body to eligible registered candidates. It is mandatory for appearing in any government competitive examination. Without a valid admit card, candidates are not permitted to enter the examination centre. Govt Jobs AI tracks and publishes admit card release dates for all major exams including SSC CGL, CHSL, MTS, RRB NTPC, RRB Group D, IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI PO, UPSC Civil Services, NDA, CDS, and state PSC exams — so you never miss a download deadline.

How to Download Your Government Exam Admit Card

Click on the relevant exam listed above and follow the direct link to the official website. Log in using your registration number, roll number, or date of birth as required. Download the admit card and print it on A4 paper. Always download from the official website only — never from third-party sources. Carry the printed admit card along with an original, valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, or Passport) to the examination centre on the day of the exam.

Key Details Printed on Your Admit Card

Your admit card contains your name, roll number, exam date and time, reporting time, examination centre name and address, exam duration, and important instructions. Verify these details immediately after downloading. If there is any discrepancy in your name, date of birth, photograph, or category, contact the recruiting authority with documentary proof before the exam date — corrections are not made at the exam centre.

What to Carry to the Exam Centre

Carry one printed copy of the admit card and one original photo ID proof. Many exams also require a passport-size photograph affixed to the admit card. Mobile phones, electronic devices, and calculators are strictly prohibited. Arrive at the exam centre at least 30–45 minutes before the scheduled reporting time — most exams do not allow entry after gate closure.
