Haryana has one of the most active state government recruitment ecosystems in North India, driven by the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) and Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC). HPSC conducts recruitment for posts such as HCS (Haryana Civil Service), DSP, Medical Officer, Assistant Professor, and other Group A and B gazetted positions. The state government has also launched Saksham Yuva Yojana providing stipend to unemployed graduates while they prepare for government jobs. Candidates must have Haryana domicile for state-level posts, and many posts additionally require proficiency in Hindi and knowledge of Haryanvi dialect.
