Meghalaya's government recruitment is primarily managed by the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) for higher-level posts and the Meghalaya Staff Selection Board (MSSB) for subordinate-level recruitment. MPSC conducts the Meghalaya Civil Services (MCS) and Meghalaya Police Services (MPS) combined exam for Group A gazetted posts including Deputy Commissioner (Prob), DSP, Block Development Officer, and various departmental heads.
