Candidates holding recognized full-time degrees in Civil, Electrical, Signal and Telecommunication, or Information Technology engineering disciplines are well-positioned for the technical Graduate Apprentice slots. Similarly, three-year state board diploma holders in Civil and Electrical engineering can apply for the 18 Technician Diploma Apprentice slots. For non-engineering corporate branches, IRCON has allocated dedicated seats for candidates holding degrees in Business Administration (BBA for HR), Commerce (B.Com for Finance), Social Work (BSW for CSR), Law (LLB for Legal), and Hindi (BA Hindi for Rajbhasha). Those who have already completed an apprenticeship program under the Apprentices Act or have one or more years of post-qualification job experience are ineligible under statutory apprenticeship guidelines.

• Graduate Apprentice: Fixed monthly stipend of ₹14,000.
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Fixed monthly stipend of ₹12,000.
• Pay Level: Not applicable, strictly engagement on a monthly stipend under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Apprenticeship stipends do not constitute regular employment salaries. Under the Apprentices Act, statutory deductions such as the National Pension System (NPS), Provident Fund (PF), Dearness Allowance (DA), and House Rent Allowance (HRA) do not apply to this engagement. Selected trainees receive the full stipend amount subject only to income tax rules if applicable. While engagement as an apprentice does not guarantee regular absorption into IRCON International Limited, the 12-month training provides direct public sector project exposure. • Applying without active registration on the official Ministry of Education NATS portal. IRCON requires verified apprenticeship portal enrollment.
• Entering CGPA or grade point average directly without converting it into an equivalent percentage as per the university conversion formula.
• Submitting applications while possessing prior formal apprenticeship training or post-qualification professional experience exceeding one year.
• Uploading blurry or improperly cropped photographs and signatures that do not adhere to the upload dimensions.
• Claiming OBC-NCL or SC/ST reservations without valid central government format certificates issued by competent revenue authorities.
• Selecting an incorrect apprentice discipline that does not correspond to the exact nomenclature of your completed qualifying degree or diploma.

Following publication of the merit list, shortlisted applicants undergo document verification at IRCON corporate office in New Delhi or project sites. Trainees must submit attested copies of their academic credentials, caste certificates, and a medical certificate of fitness. The entire onboarding process from merit list release to formal training commencement is generally completed within 45 to 60 days.

Selected apprentices enter into a formal 12-month training contract governed by the Apprentices Act. Training takes place at active IRCON project sites, regional units, or corporate headquarters across India. Upon successful completion of the one-year training duration, candidates receive the National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by the Ministry of Education.
