Non-technical graduates applying for administrative, HR, finance, or store management apprenticeships need a 3 or 4-year degree in any recognized stream. All candidates must be Indian citizens. Apprenticeship stipends are not subject to the same deductions as regular employment, but NPS contributions (if applicable during apprenticeship) typically reduce take-home by 8–10%. Tax liability is minimal given the stipend brackets. After successful completion of your 1–2 year apprenticeship tenure, confirmed performers are often retained as trainees or junior officers on a permanent or contract footing, with salary jumping to Level 2–3 of the Government Pay Matrix (₹19,900–₹25,000+). Career progression into senior technical or management roles depends on post-apprenticeship qualification (higher diploma, additional certifications, or degree) and performance review. • Wrong category selection: Applying as ITI Apprentice when you hold a diploma, or vice versa. The system auto-filters based on qualification; mismatched applications are desk-rejected.
• Photo/signature not meeting specs: Submitting photos with coloured background, hats, sunglasses, or off-centre cropping; signatures that are faint, in pen-and-ink style, or size-mismatched. The portal auto-rejects poor-quality uploads.
• Trade/branch mismatch: Selecting a trade (e.g., Electrical) when your ITI certificate is in Mechanical. Verify the exact trade name in your marksheet against HAL's list.
• Missing or invalid education certificates: Not uploading 10th or diploma certificates, or uploading documents with unclear text. HAL conducts document verification; missing proofs lead to disqualification post-selection.
• Incomplete degree at time of application: Applying for Engineering Graduate or Diploma positions while still in final year. Degrees must be awarded and in-hand by the application closing date.
• Submitting after deadline: The portal closes sharp at 11:59 PM on 4 September 2026. Late submissions are not accepted under any circumstance.

Once your name appears on the merit list, HAL will issue a joining notice with date, time, and venue for document verification. Bring original certificates (10th, 12th, degree/diploma, caste certificate if applicable), four recent passport-size photos, and photo ID (Aadhaar, voter ID, or PAN). The verification process typically takes 1–3 hours. You will then be scheduled for a medical examination within 2 weeks, conducted at a HAL-approved medical facility or hospital. On successful medical clearance, you receive an apprenticeship letter and joining date. Most apprenticeships begin within 30 days of final approval. During your 1–2 year tenure at HAL Nasik, you will work under a supervisor, attend shop-floor training, and undertake structured apprenticeship modules. Monthly stipend is credited to your bank account. On completion, a certificate of apprenticeship is issued. High performers may be offered training roles or junior positions on contract or permanent rolls at ₹18,000–₹25,000/month depending on the role. The entire cycle—from application to confirmation—spans 3–4 months.
