How long is CTET certificate valid?
CTET certificate is valid for LIFETIME as of December 2021 (CBSE notification). Previously it was 7 years — the change benefits all CTET passers past and present. All CTET certificates issued before 2021 are also automatically extended to lifetime validity — no action needed from candidates. State TET validity varies: UPTET: 5 years (renewed on qualifying again); REET: lifetime; HTET: lifetime; TNTET: lifetime; KTET: 7 years. Check specific state TET notification for validity.
