Annual increment = 3% of basic pay, rounded to the next multiple of ₹100. It is granted on July 1 every year. Employees who joined on or before July 1 get the increment on that date.
Yes. When basic pay increases after increment, DA amount (a % of basic) also increases. HRA amount increases proportionally since it is calculated as a % of basic pay.
When an employee reaches the maximum cell (pay step) in their pay level, a stagnation increment is given every 2 years, up to a maximum of 3 stagnation increments.
Employees who join after July 1 get their first regular increment on July 1 of the next year. A notional increment may be shown for pay fixation purposes on joining.
